Want a Faculty Website? Create one...

My Sites

Share content, deadlines, course details or flip your classroom. Ideally the students would benefit from one place to access your subjects information.

If you have a wikispace then you are familiar with what follows. Google have their own 'wikispaces' called Google Sites. This allows anyone with a Google account to create a site. Through our school's Google Apps for Education account we can create sites that can only be viewed or edited by people at the school. This provides a slightly more secure environment in which to create a site. Here's how it works...

The video shows the process but to get some ideas here are links to sites I have created.
Rousemaths for my students, containing maths instructional videos.
Technology for Learning Site (originally meant for teachers but will be adapted to be for students)

If you do not feel comfortable creating a site from scratch I have created a template your can use.

Using Glyn Template

Once you have created your own site or used the template here are some tips to help you get started editing your site.

Editing your Sites

Please let me know if you need any further guidance and look out for blog posts from other teachers who will soon be sharing their experience of creating and editing sites.
